More great giant Spanish
Today I had Grant and Don - 2 fun boys from Tennessee! Last year we has a great day with reds but this year we wanted to try something different. The morning started off calm and we did a job on the big Spanish - waxing them on live bait. All were between 4-6lbs - we kept 2, released 6+ [...]
A manatee and some interesting fly fishing
Trevor is an avid fly angler, and having been set up by me to fish for reds with another guide (and having a great trip), we decided to try something different. On our way out, We started off the day seeing a large creature wallowing in the shallows near the MHC port.. I was thinking large shark before the gentle [...]
The boys who do it all
I look forward to fishing with Drew and Pete all summer - these boys beat out anglers 5 times their age. Of course their parents, Beth and Dave, aren't bad either.... 🙂 We started out the day with the big Spanish - it was not a stupid hot as the day prior but it was very good. We ended up [...]

Mon - I had (favorite) regulars Dave and Beth. We started looking for mahi but abandoned that quickly to look for grouper. It was on - we caught a bunch of gags as well as a scamp. Big sea bass were thick. We ended up on a wreck with an excellent AJ bite on jigs. Dave hooked a huge albacore [...]
Tough day

The swell did cause Ralph to make an appearance but the troopers held on - bites were tough to come by but the Rimkos salvaged the day and found a few. I'm just glad their flounder [...]
Mon Report
Great time with the Norris's today - slick calm, cool and overcast. Our 6hr trip went well - we got a limit of bass, several big flounder (excluding one that jumped out of the net) and Thomas even found a 34" drum on the wreck! Great morning guys!
