Today was nice - decent weather with outstanding folks. Started off the morning with a double header of 30" cobes and caught 2 big spanish on light lines before the bite changed over to that of sharks. Flounder bite was a hair slower today - live bait was key (still got a few on jigs) [...]
New theme today - serious quality. East wind killed our flounder bite, slowed the mackerel bite although we did manage a 3lb spanish and 2 big flatties (one at 5lbs). We pushed off looking for jacks - found none - but we did get in a great gag bite landing our limit! Woot! The treat [...]
Epic again today - chris, chris and eric had 18 keepers (biggest is chris senior's 7lb'r pictured) a bunch of bass, hake, etc. Absolutely crazy for august. Tried to look for jacks - found some albies and a 10 tiger shark cruising the surface. Also landed a 23" grouper on one of our only "primo" [...]
The big mackerel bite was off today - sunny conditions and thick water from the last few rough days. Should clean up really quickly. The flounder bite remains red hot - we boated 6, keeping 5 between 17 and 20" in less than 45mins before deciding to go play with 2-3lb bluefish that were terrorizing [...]

Great bite today - crushed the 5-7lb spanish and small kings...then worked on the flounder, landing about 25 with 18keepers, several bass, triggers, etc. Highlight was laura catching a 7lb citation flounder! Tried to grouper fish - landed 5 just under until I ran out of "primo" baits. Great day guys!

I had a great time with Mike and michael this afternoon casting to breaking schools of spaniards. They were picky, but we managed a good amount of fish and several nice fish. Michael with his big blue!
It took longer than I would have liked but we finally got Mike his topwater red. Off to try a few more spots and then on to flounder..
