I had the Spotts crew today and It was a gorgeous day ight winds with only a decent ground swell. Unfortunately fishing was not as nice as the weather. On the heels of my recent good mahi fishing we decided on doing some slow trolling – caught fish we did, just not our intended quarry. While we did get some big spanish and nice king bites, we had a mixed bag of houndfish, sharks and baracuda… But at the end of the day we found a great AJ bite and everyone got to land their monster fish…and release them to fight another day.
