Not much to report lately other than really pretty, nice days and good nearshore stuff. I’ve been running a lot of half-days the last week or two, and we’ve been doing really well with spanish mackerel, bluefish, flounder, sharks, a few king mackerel and a few small cobia.

We’ve had a lot of fun lately, and I love all that our fishery offers down here…BUT I still feel like I, and many fishermen, am missing out lately. Given all the calm days….and the good nearshore mahi fishing. And the good grouper fishing. And the good seabass and trigger fishing. The reports of sailfish starting to roll inside 25 miles.. OH, and my favorite – the awesome wreck fishing for big amberjacks on poppers and fly….I need some people who want to take advantage of this stuff.
