After a 3 season hiatus I sfound myself back at the Roanoke River this past April for a week. Truthfully it was to help out my friend Dean Lamont, but I have to say that I simply had a ball.
The water was fairly high this year but the fishing was so consistent – 60-100+ fish days were the norm. Bait was king but we did well with the fly and jig as well.
A good year like this has me itching to go back in late April 2015 – let me know if you’re interested!
