This morning we got on a great redfish bite – much better than the last couple of weeks. Coming off the full moon the fish are getting back on the flats and feeding well.
Offshore the dolphin bite is GREAT. The topwater/fly amberjack bite is INSANE.
We’ve also been catching some great gag grouper – fish of all sizes, all the way to 20lbs+
The wrecks are a good place to be right now!!!
I still have the weekend open, and the forcast is slick calm…if anyone is interested in doing something really special.
I haven’t taken many pictures lately due to a phone issue – here’s a couple that my wife and I took this past memorial day sunday. We slayed the dolphin on both troll and fly – after about 12 gaffers we honestly tried to say away from them to find something different (it didnt work either). Katie got a couple of bulls in the 25lb range, and I managed a couple nice gaffers on the fly. We also hit a few ledges in the way in and caught some serious gags. Picture of me with a 15lb’r.
