New theme today – serious quality.
East wind killed our flounder bite, slowed the mackerel bite although we did manage a 3lb spanish and 2 big flatties (one at 5lbs).
We pushed off looking for jacks – found none – but we did get in a great gag bite landing our limit! Woot!
The treat was being visited by a wall of shark – 12′ of tiger with an escort of a half dozen obviously stupid cobia (who wants to swim with those angry things???). 5 were under 25″ – one was 35lbs. The later came home with us.
Quality fish today and great people. Jason and Mike – what a pleasure. Days like today make my job worth while. Thank you!
