Sat – Not much too it. Just a few scattered pods on the beach and aggravating sippers off the beach. Weirder weather. Got a few shots and the pending gail drove us in early.
Fri…it was a different story. Blowing NE20 but very fishable, we were one of only 4 or so boats on the water…and we were in fish all day. Big time fun stuff – scattered pods busting large silversides. Had to wait them out to get shots, but when we did they ate…and they were all big. We landed fish from 12 to 15lbs and I leadered one that would have gone 18+ before he parted ways with the leader. Most important? We got Harry his first Albie on the fly!
