This is a late Friday report – had uploading issues.
It rained all weekend, but the albies were still there and bit like crazy. Can’t say I was out there all weekend, but it was good!! It’s looking like it’s going to be an excellent fall!
Today we had 80% chance of heavy rain from 5am to 5pm. It was sunny and nice all day – started raining at 6pm. Go figure.
We started off messing around with big spanish and 2-4lb bluefish in the inlet – after we tired of those, we went looking for something else and found lots of hungry albacore.
We found big willing pods of ‘user friendly’ albies from the inlet all the way to the cape. We caught a bunch, lost even more and had a great time.
