I had 2 days of decent nearshore mahi fishing the past few days – it’s nice that the weather was nice enough to let me get out!
Tom and tom did pretty good despite the fact that we jumped off several good fish – ended the day on a great grouper bite.
Today Rob had a great trip – we had 4hrs of pandamonium while live bait trolling (I am leaving out the several slow hours) catching several nice gaffers and jumping off several nice fish – one of which was an easy 30lb bull that had no business being that close to shore.
Also saw TWO leatherbacks!! Awesome!
I took several photos but my phone lost them – hopefully rob will email me a couple!
Also, let me add there is a great grouper bite out there….
