9/21 – ALBACORE on TOPWATERS!
The hard NE blow started to subside today and come noon the wind had died to a comfortable 12 knots. Since no one has fished in days, I decided to check things out and get a hand on what's happening outside of beaufort inlet. The combined cold front and hard NE winds have lowered the water temperatureto a chilly 72 [...]
9/16 – KINGS KINGS KINGS!!!!
I'll get to the good part in a second, but let me recap what's been going on in other areas. Gray Trout in the usual places and there are spanish [...]

With no fish in site we decided to check out the reported action on the east side. It was pretty calm so i was able to shoot over [...]
8/25 WaterDog – Acres of Blues and Big Flounder
Headed out this morning with Derek, Bill and Trevor on one of their many yearly visits with flounder on the mind. Three generations of fishermen on one boat always makes for a good time--nothing like father and son. On the way out of the inlet, we ran into huge clouds of birds and giant baitballs being CRUSHED by the snapper [...]
