July 4th weekend report…
The last two or three years have given us very calm July 4th weeks, and I've been able to get out and get offshore and spend the day generally avoiding other humans. Several years of that made me forget why I swore to not work on July 4th weekend - until this year I had forgotten how insanely crazy it [...]

Spanish and sheepshead
Had a good spanish bite this morning - eating small stuff but we put a good number in the boat. We opted to skip reds and hit the incoming for some sheepies - Phil got the first good one at 6lbs. Hoping to get a pic of Bill shortly too.
Big spanish and flounder.
It started out pretty but ended up pretty bumpy - we did fine, even if it was our plan B! Jason and Linda had several 5lb spanish and 2 limits of flounder. We just waxed the flatties.
Windy.
What started out as 10-15 became a solid 25...thanks weather jerks. We got lucky and still found a few.
