Spanish and giant sharks.
This is Daly, or as I call him - Mr. Nat Geo. He knows more about sharks than anyone I have ever met, and I wish more people shared his enthusiasm for all aspects of the natural world. We started off catching all the spanish you could want - casting lures to busting fish. From there we went shark fishing [...]
Wind.
More wind today - only 10-15 but the ocean is still rough as snot. Started off sight-casting to bonnetheads (no dice) and move over to sheepshead where we had tons of bites...just not much to show for it. Ended up boxing a few flounder and getting into some bonnetheads with jacob landing this 12lb'r on a bucktail.
world class bonnetheads.
Had a great time with John and Michael today - not the best day but we had good bites and caught some good fish. The sheepshead bite was poor but we got into some flounder and John stole the show landing 2 world-class 20lb+ bonnetheads. Some of the biggest iwe've landed, ever. Good job and enjoy your flounder dinner!
