This morning I took out Richard and Donna to chase a few of those tasty Atlantic Bonito. One of my many “rescheduled from april” dates, but things finally came together – the seas were flat calm all morning. The fishing was steady – we managed some Bonito casting and a few “light tackle trolling.” In the meantime I tought them some knots and went over some basic fish strategy and rigging – they just purchased a new boat this past year and are hoping to increase their productivity in the big pond.
I had a pleasure fishing with this fine couple on a slick calm morning – i’m sure I’ll hear back from them this summer when the kings and dolphin are biting!
